The Pittsburgh Panthers are coming off of a tough loss at home against Duke which shows the Panthers still have some work to do. Pitt’s other loss in the ACC is to Syracuse as they are 6-2 in the conference and in third place. Lamar Patterson leads the Panthers averaging 17.7 points per game. Talib Zanna is averaging 13.4 points and 8.0 rebounds, Cameron Wright is averaging 10.8 points, and Cameron Wright is averaging 10.8 points. Pitt is looking like they will be returning to the NCAA Tournament this year after missing out on March Madness last season.
Virginia is 7-0 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 8-0 against the spread against the ACC, and 4-0 against the spread in their last four road games. Pittsburgh is 4-9-1 against the spread in their last 14 games, 8-3-1 against the spread against the ACC, and 0-6-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread.
My free pick in this one is going to be on the total which is set at 123 which I see this one going over. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as the App.
