The South Florida Bulls visit instate and conference rival the Central Florida Knights.
After knocking off Southern Methodist with a 78 point effort, the offense found the going a bit tougher in a 50-45 defeat at Cincinnati on Sunday. Bad shooting or good defense was responsible for the Bulls hitting at less then 39% from the field with the Bearcats responding with 33%. Cincinnati totaled six more free throws to win it but the visitors 1-11 mark from long range hurt them the most. Chris Perry led the scoring with 13 points and seven rebounds with Victor Rudd next in line with eleven points and six boards.

Conference play has not been kind to Central Florida as their offense has not been able to break loose and score consistently while the defense has not been able to hold up. The Knights gave Louisville all they had before dropping an 87-70 decision for loss number six in a row. The offense struggled to find the range at 38% that combined with 16 turnovers to really be decisive with the Cardinals firing away at over 51%. Tristan Spurlock paced the offense with 20 points with Calvin Newell tossing in 12 and Kasey Wilson, eleven. Isaiah Sykes and Daiquan Walker added eight points each with Sykes grabbing a game high eleven rebounds.
Both teams are obviously struggling so that tends to turn me off. I don't see a great deal to like here so I'll simply side with the points...
