The Line: George Washington Colonials -12 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
George Washington looks to rebound at home against Duquesne after suffering a loss to Dayton. The Dukes have lost five of their last seven and the Colonials have won five of their last six.
If you’ve followed either team this season, there’s a good chance you have made some serious money. The Dukes are 7-2-2 against the spread this season, while the Colonials are 11-5 ATS. In their last nine games, these two teams are a combined 9-1 against the spread. Bottom line: these are two teams you should be paying attention to whenever they’re on the college basketball schedule.

But as far as this game is concerned, George Washington is a step up in competition from what Duquesne has been playing as of late. In the Colonials last five games, they’re shooting above 50 percent from the field and allowing just 38.7 percent to their opponents. It’s a team that plays extremely well at both ends of the court and is 10 straight up in front of its home fans.
Meanwhile, the Dukes have given up 75.2 points per game defensively this season, which isn’t going to cut it against a George Washington team that can knock down shots. Sure, they average 76.2 points on offense, but that average should drop a little bit against a feisty George Washington defense.
The Colonials are 5-1 against the spread in their last six games against the Atlantic 10 and are also 4-1 ATS on their home court.
I’ll take the well-rounded team at home to cover the chalk.
