The Hofstra Pride look to get back in the win column when they pay a visit to the Northeastern Huskies.
It's been a long season for Hofstra who has not been able to score and defend on a consistent basis. That has led to a four game slide that was capped off by a 67-49 defeat at Charleston with the offense never finding the range with 27% marksmanship. The defensive end of the floor allowed the Cougars to hit at under 41% although the perimeter D had some issues with CofC connecting on 12 three pointers. Zeke Upshaw paced a trio of double digit scorers with 14 points followed by Dion Nesmith and Jamall Robinson with ten points apiece with Robinson hauling in ten boards.

The key to winning for Northeastern is to keep opponents in the low to mid 60's because scoring a ton of points is not what they do. In other words, avoiding the track meet is in their best inerest which didn't happen versus the big offense of Delaware in 80-67 road loss. The Huskies won the shooting battle 48%-42.6% but the Blue Hens nailed a dozen long balls and totaled 16 more shots. Northeastern received 21 points and eight rebounds from Scott Eatherton with David Walker tossing in 12 while Demetrius Pollard and Kwesi Abakah combined for another 16 points.
Northeastern is the better team at home so I can see a big rout of Hofstra who isn't a good road team. I think the Huskies win big or the Pride barely cover so it's pick your poison here...
