Fourth place is on the line when the Wright State Raiders host the Youngstown State Penguins.
The offensively minded Penguins like to get out and run the floor and really have to put up points because opponents do. This makes for some exciting basketball although it wasn't winning basketball in an 86-85 loss to Oakland on Friday. YSU owned an eight point lead after 20 minutes before faltering late with both teams sinking shots in the 48% range. With the boxscore indicative of a close game the Golden Grizzlies made good use of a few more shots to squeeze by. Ryan Weber led the attack with 20 points and and nine pulls with Kamren Belin adding 18 followed by Kendrick Perry with 17 points. Bobby Hain scored 14 points and snagged ten rebounds while DJ Cole came up with ten points and nine assists.

Wright State is the complete opposite of Youngstown State as they do not run the floor and prefer to control the pace with a half court attack and strong defense. The Raiders have done just that the past three times out yet have gone 0-3 by a combined 12 points. WSU had conference leader Green Bay on the hook last time out but the Phoenix escaped with a 62-55 decision on their own floor. The visitors hit at 37.5% compared to Green Bay's 46% but stayed close with an 8-3 edge on threes. JT Yoho was the only double digit scorer with 15 points and eight boards with Matt Vest and Reggie Arceneaux netting eight points each on identical 3-8 shooting.
Youngstown State has fared well in this match up although from a cover stand point Wright State has covered three straight. I think the line is about right and I'd rather take a shot with the points in a toss up...
