The Athletics Center Arena and the Oakland Golden Grizzlies host the Cleveland State Vikings.
Cleveland State is trying to make themselves heard in the Horizon and thus far the rest of the league is listening after the Vikings have rattled off four straight wins. Both ends of the floor have been contributing although it was the offense that carried the load in an 86-78 decision at Detroit. The Vikings carried an eleven point lead in to the second half and held on with nearly 60% shooting leading the way. Better long range accuray and a 21-11 edge at the stripe were key with the Titans sinking shots at over 51%. Bryn Forbes was the scoring star with 27 points followed by Sebastian Douglas with 14 while Charlie Lee and Jon Harris tossed in 13 and 12 points.

Oaklands first year as a member of the Horizon has bee a bit up and down although they have faced many of these teams in non conference action before. The Golden Grizzlies have generally relied on their scoring ability which appears to be the key once again with the defensive end of the floor giving up over 77 points. The offense didn't lend a hand in Sunday's 86-64 defeat at Milwaukee with only 37.5% shooting to lean on while the Panthers fired away at over 56%. Travis Bader paced the offense with 21 points on 6-11 from beyond the arc with Kahlil Felder and Duke Monday netting 21 points with Felder handing out a contest high nine helpers.
Weird things can and do happen in the Horizon so I'm leary in saying that I'm going with the better team because better can be a relative term in this conference. I'll simply say I'm backing the Vikings...
