Colorado State ad Air Force will clash Saturday afternoon at the Clune Arena. These two teams played one another a couple of weeks ago and the Rams won 74-68.
The Falcons have lost five straight games and seven of their last eight. During that stretch they’re shooting just 40 percent from the field and averaging 58.4 points. Defensively, they’ve allowed 69.2 points on 43.6 percent shooting. While their 9-12 SU record may not be pretty, they are 10-6 against the spread and 5-4 ATS at home. Marek Olesinski has scored a combined 50 points in his last three games.

The Rams have lost four of their last six but are coming off a win over UNLV. During their slump they’re shooting less than 40 percent from the field and averaging 67.6 points, which is significantly lower than their season average of 74.1 points. The defense has remained solid all season, holding teams to 41.3 percent on and 66.8 points in their last five games. The Rams are 5-11-1 against the spread and 2-4-1 ATS on the road.
This game is pretty much a toss-up in my eyes, as neither team has a clear advantage over the other. However, Colorado State does average 38.1 rebounds, while Air Force averages just 32.9 per game. That’s good enough to keep this game close, if not win SU if it comes down to the wire like their previous meeting did. Not to mention the Rams have won the last six meetings SU against Air Force.
The Rams will do enough to keep this close and cover the small number.
