The James Madison Dukes go on the road in search of the upset of the Drexel Dragons in a CAA bout.
I've seen James Madison enough to say this team needs to control the scoreboard to be successful because scoring is not their game. So when the offense does put up some points the game has to go in the win column which didn't hapen in an 80-71 defeat at Towson on Tuesday. A dreadful first half did the Dukes in with a 13 point deficit staring them in the eyes at the half. Towson won the shooting battle 49%-43% but put this one away on the strength of a 19-9 edge at the stripe. Andre Nation led the offense with 20 minutes with Ron Curry and Charles Cooke netting 13 and ten points with Cooke posting seven boards.

As I have watched Drexel during conference play I can't help but think this is a better team then they've shown at times. Having said that I also believe the Dragons have to play well at both ends of the floor as neither the scoring or D can win games by their lonesome. Drexel did lean on their defense to down struggling North Carolina-Wilmington by a 61-50 mark. The D held the Seahawks to under 38% which made their own 44% accuracy and 16-7 advantage at the line a winning combination. The one two ounch of Chris Fouch and Frantz Massenat netted 16 and 15 points with ten boards and nine assists with Tavon Allen leading the offense with 17 points and five yanks.
If you have seen both of these teams play you would be looking at another place to put ypur money. I have no interest in this one and would have to have DD in points to have an interest...
