The North Carolina State Wolfpack travel to Miami to play the Hurricanes on Saturday.
North Carolina State dropped to 14-8, 4-5 ACC after losing to North Carolina on the road 84-70 last Saturday. On the season, T.J. Warren averages a team-high 22.4 points and 7.3 rebounds. Warren is one of the best players in the ACC and has a chance to play at the next level. Freshman Anthony Barber is averaging 10.8 points and a team-high 4 assists per game. The Wolfpack are averaging 71.9 points per game while shooting 46% from the field as a team this season. NC State is a decent rebounding team, averaging 35.8 boards per game. After winning three straight games in conference play, the Wolfpack fell short against the Tar Heels last weekend. NC State will look to get back to their winning ways when they head down to Miami Saturday; the Wolfpack 3-4 on the road this season.

The Miami Hurricanes dropped to 11-11, 2-7 ACC after losing to Pittsburgh 59-55 on Wednesday night. On the season, Rion Brown leads the Hurricanes in scoring, averaging 14.3 points per game, the only player averaging in double-figures for Miami this season. Brown is also averaging a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game. Garrius Adams is averaging a second-best 9.8 points per game while averaging a team-high 2.8 assists per contest. The Hurricanes are only averaging 61.3 points per game while shooting 41.7% from the field, both rank near the bottom in the country. Miami is an average rebounding team and they are awful when it comes to distributing the basketball on the offensive end of the floor. Miami will look to get a win at home on Saturday; the Hurricanes have lost three out of their last four games at home.
North Carolina State is a solid team but they just can’t compete with the elite teams in the ACC such as Duke, Syracuse, Virginia, and Pittsburgh. However, the Wolfpack are facing Miami, who has struggled in conference play and can’t even get a win on their home floor. I think the Wolfpack go down to Miami and win, but Miami won’t go down without a fight so this game may be close down to the final possession.
