The Cleveland State Vikings visit the Nutter Center in seach of the season split with Wright State.
Cleveland State is a very dangerous squad with their overall athletic ability that is capable of scoring in bunches. The Vikings needed every point they could muster versus Oakland as they seemed to be playing from behind until a late offensive burst pushed them over the top in a 92-85 decision. This was an old fashion shootout with CSU leading 60%-54% in the accuracy department with both combining for an eye popping 29 threes. An 18-6 edge at the charity stripe did the trick with the visitors not missing many in the closing seconds. Charles Lee exploded for 31 points with Jon Harris tossing in 19 points while Trey Lewis and Bryn Forbes adding 16 and eleven points.

After three consecutive close defeats Wright State got back in the win column with a 77-67 decision against visiting Youngstown State. Both teams shot the basketball well with the Penguins hitting at 46% but the Raiders held them off on 51% shooting and a 27-17 edge at the foul line where 27 YSU personals were turned in to significant offense. Cole Darling broke loose for a team high 20 points with JY Yoho and Chrishawn Hopkins tossing in eleven points each with Hopkins posting five pulls. Jerran Young and AJ Pacher added ten points each while eight players were able to score altogether.
I think Cleveland State is the better squad but there are reasons to avoid them altogether. Wright State bottled up their athetes in beating them 49-46 earlier and the Vikings are playing their fourth straight road game so use caution here...
