The Syracuse Orange are ranked number one in the nation and unbeaten and while their fan base is often beaten down and tortured and represent themselves as bitter and underachieving like their team, this appears to be a time that if their hopes are going to be flattened once again it will more than likely be in March. Syracuse has looked dominant on the court ad while they haven’t been winning by large margins; they have been piling up the wins. C.J. Fair leads the Orange averaging 16.7 points and 5.9 rebounds. Trevor Cooney is averaging 14.1 points, Jerami Grant is averaging 12.8 points and 7.0 rebounds, and Tyler Ennis is averaging 12.1 points. Syracuse is averaging 71.8 points and they are shooting 46 percent while defensively they are allowing 59.1 points and their opponents are shooting 40.9 percent. If Syracuse can keep it going maybe this is could be their year.
Syracuse is 11-4-1 against the spread in their last 16 games and 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five home games.
