Oklahoma, meanwhile, dropped out of the national rankings this week, but sit in third place in the conference with a record of 7-4. The Sooners come in off a decisive 88-72 victory over Baylor Saturday, in which they shot an accurate 53.6 percent from the floor and 48.3 percent from beyond the arc to the Bears’ 42.4 percent from the field and 39.1 percent from distance. OU also finished with a 35-30 rebounding edge and converted 14 of 19 from the free throw line. Sophomore G Isaiah Cousins scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, sophomore G Buddy Hield had 19 points, including 5 of 8 from downtown, and senior F Cameron Clark added 16 points. Through 24 games, the Sooners are averaging 83.8 ppg on 45.3 percent shooting. Hield leads the team with 17.0 ppg, followed by Clark at 15.8.

Rick’s Pick: The line in this one is currently set at -9.5 for Oklahoma. The Sooners handed Texas Tech a 9-point loss when these two got it on a couple weeks ago in Lubbock. The Sooners desperately need consistency, having been bounced from the top 25 twice now after brief appearances. Look for a closer game than the line, though.
