The Mean Green haven’t been any better, allowing 80.2 points during their losing streak and averaging just 66.6 points. Teams are shooting 49.4 percent from the field during their last five games and 45.2 percent from downtown. The lack of defense has cost this team games all season, but this past week has taken things to a whole new level. At home they average 68.7 points and allow 70.7 points. They are 8-8-1 ATS overall and 1-4-1 ATS at home.
This is really picking between which team you think is going to suck less. Both teams have serious faults and manage to do everything they can to avoid the win column. However, I can’t but into a team that plays absolutely no defense. None. Zero. East Carolina, one of the better scoring teams in the country, should manage to score plenty in this game. It also has a manageable ATS road record that should give you some type of hope.
This game could really go either way and I’d advise you to place your money elsewhere. But when it’s a battle between two horrible teams, I always take the points and hope for the best.
