The Milwaukee Panthers look to keep piling up the wins when they faceoff with the Valparaiso Crusaders.
Valparaiso lost their share of talent from a season ago but they appear no worse for the wear as the saying goes as they are knocking on the door of second place Cleveland State. The Crusaders currently reside in third with a 7-4 record and can ill afford a loss in the closing weeks of the regular season with plenty of teams waiting in the wings to take over. A 63-60 win over Oakland was a much slower pace then Valpo is accustomed too but their 45.7% shooting was just enough to carry the day over the 40% shooting Golden Grizzlies that totaled nine more looks on 17 Crusaders giveaways. Alec Peters paced a balanced attack with 13 points with Clay Yeo adding 12 while LaVonte Dority and Bobby Capobianco combining for 21 points.

Milwaukee began the conference schedule playing well before suffering through losses in five of seven and now a three game winning streak which must continue or their standing in the top four won't last. The Panthers are coming in one of their best all around performances when they knocked off conference top dog Green Bay by a 73-63 count on the road. Both teams were competitive in the shooting department with Milwaukee sinking three more from distance and five more free throws. Jordan Aaron was the difference maker as he exploded for 30 points on 4-6 from beyond the arc with Kyle Kelm and Steve McWhorter adding ten points each while Matt Tiby and Malcolm Moore chipped in with eight points apiece.
Both teams have picked it up the last few weeks and I don't see a ton of difference here. Valparaiso won the first match up but I'm inclined to go with the home team but I struggle having confidence with this team...
