In what should be the ugliest game on the Monday college basketball schedule, the Davidson Wildcats will visit the Citadel Bulldogs. The earlier meeting between these teams resulted in a 62-43 blowout win by Davidson.
This doesn’t really need much of an explanation. You’re either picking the Wildcats or taking your money elsewhere.

The Bulldogs have lost 14 straight games and are 1-5 ATS at home. In their last five games they’re averaging just 52.6 points and allowing 70.4 points. At home they score just 64.6 points and allow opponents to drop 75 points. They’re just an absolute brutal team at both ends of the floor and shouldn’t be trusted with any amount of points.
The Wildcats have won eight games in a row and are 10-5 ATS on the road. In their last five matchups, they’re averaging 83.6 points and allowing just 61 points. On the road they shoot 51.7 percent from the field. They’re an offensive machine that shares the ball well and has topped 80 points in seven of their last nine games.
The Bulldogs have been terrible in pretty much every game they’ve played in this season and are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games. Meanwhile, the Wildcats are 8-0 ATS in their last eight road games.
I’d advise you to just avoid this game all together and find something else that is actually worthy of a pick. I hate laying the heavy chalk on the road, but I can’t bring myself to back a Citadel team that is terrible at both ends of the court.
If you must, take Davidson and the truckload of chalk.
