The North Carolina State Wolfpack travel to Clemson to play the Tigers on Tuesday night.
North Carolina State dropped to 16-9, 6-6 ACC after losing at Syracuse 56-55 on Saturday night. On the year, T.J. Warren leads the Wolfpack with a team-high 23.1 points and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game. Anthony Barber is averaging a second-best 10.3 points per game along with averaging a team-high 3.9 assists per contest. The Wolfpack are averaging 71.6 points per game while shooting 46% from the field as a team this season. North Carolina State is an average rebounding team, pulling down 35.7 boards per game. The Wolfpack had won two straight games and five of their last six overall over the past month before losing on Saturday. North Carolina State will now hit the road for two more road conference games. The Wolfpack have lost four of their last five road games.

The Clemson Tigers dropped to 15-9, 6-6 ACC after losing to Virginia 63-58 at home on Saturday. On the season, K.J. McDaniels leads the Tigers with 17 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. McDaniels is the only legit playmaker on the squad which is the main reason why the Tigers have struggled in conference play. Rod Hall is averaging 9 points per game and a team-high 3.7 assists per contest. Clemson is averaging just 62.3 points per game while shooting only 41.1% from the field as a team this season. Clemson is not a great offensive team but they have the ability to shut teams down on the defensive end of the floor. The Tigers have lost three straight games, two on the road and two at home. Clemson had won three straight at home before the loss on Saturday.
Clemson is difficult to beat at home, especially when they are locked in defensively. I think the Tigers will play with some intensity on Tuesday and they will make it tough for Warren and the Wolfpack to score consistently. NC State is a good team but I don’t think they have enough to get a win at Clemson; however, they will keep it close and cover the spread.
