The Saint Louis Billikens look to extend their winning streak to 18 games when they travel to George Mason to play the Patriots. These teams met earlier in the month and Saint Louis won 87-81 in overtime.
The Billikens have had a couple of close calls the last few games, but they continue to find ways to win. And that includes on the road, as they average 68.2 points and allow just 60 points away from home. Everybody talks about their defense, but four of their five starters scored in double figures in the victory over VCU. They are 9-13 ATS overall and 4-7 ATS on the road.

The Patriots had their two-game winning streak snapped by St. Bonaventure, as they turned the ball over 14 times in the loss. The game knocked them to 5-6 SU at home, a place where they average 70.9 points and allow 71.9 points. Bryon Allen and Sherrod Wright continue to do all of the scoring, as they combined for 46 of the Pats 73 points in the loss. In their last five games, they’re averaging 77.2 points on 47.3 percent shooting and allowing 80.8 points on 45.1 percent shooting. They are also 9-13 ATS overall and just 2-7 ATS at home.
Right when the Patriots looked like they were gaining momentum, they go ahead and get beat up by a mediocre St. Bonaventure team. However, St. Louis has played in many close games recently, including the earlier meeting against George Mason.
The Patriots will have confidence and the home crowd to feed off of to help keep this one close. They are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS loss.
This will be the biggest game of the year for them. Take the points and the home team.
