The Vanderbilt Commodores needed overtime to beat Texas A&M on Saturday but they got it done to end a two game losing skid. Vanderbilt is 6-6 in the SEC and 4-6 over all on the road this season. Rod Odom leads the Commodores averaging 14.7 points per game and 5.7 rebounds. Kyle Fuller is averaging 12.1 points, Damian Jones is averaging 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds, and James Siakam is averaging 7.9 points and 5.2 rebounds. Vanderbilt is averaging 66.6 points per game and they are shooting 44.5 percent while defensively they are allowing 65.4 points and their opponents are shooting 40.1 percent. Vandy has had a rebuilding season and they have played well but only in spots.
Missouri is 5-16-1 against the spread in their last 22 games following a game that they covered the point spread, 2-7 against the spread in their last nine home games, and 2-6-1 against the spread following a win. Vanderbilt is 11-5 against the spread in their last 15 road games, 14-5 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, and 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five games.
My free pick in this one will be on the total and at 131.5 I don't see the over being much of a problem. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
