Lenzelle Smith Jr. is averaging 11.7 points, Aaron Craft is averaging 9.5 points and 2.5 steals, and Amir Williams is averaging 8.7 points and 6.1 rebounds. Ohio State is averaging 70.5 points and they are shooting 45.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 58.5 points and their opponents are shooting 39.7 percent. Ohio State is in fifth place in the Big Ten standings.

The Northwestern Wildcats have lost their last three games and have slid to ninth place in the Big Ten standings. Northwestern is 5-8 in the Big Ten, 4-7 away from home, and 1-6 against teams ranked in the top 25. Drew Crawford leads the Wildcats averaging 15.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. JerShon Cobb is averaging 12.4 points, Tre Demps is averaging 10.7 points, and Alex Olah is averaging 8.1 points and 5.1 rebounds. Northwestern is averaging 60.7 points and they are shooting 39.7 percent while defensively they are allowing 63.4 and their opponents are shooting 41 percent. Northwestern appears to have lost the positive momentum they had a few weeks back.
Ohio State is 4-1 against the spread against the Big Ten, 6-2 against the spread following a win, and 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games. Northwestern is 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning home record, 6-14 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 road games against a team with a winning percentage over .600. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
This is just way too many points and in a series where the underdog has had their way I am on the dog here as well.
