The Oregon Ducks are coming off of a win on Sunday against rival Oregon State that ended their two game losing skid. Oregon is 4-8 in the Pac-12 and 11-3 at home this season but their NCAA Tournament hopes are fading. Joseph Young leads the Ducks averaging 18.7 points per game. Mike Moser is averaging 12.8 points and 7.3 rebounds, Jason Calliste is averaging 12.3 points, and Damyean Dotson is averaging 10.5 points. Oregon is averaging 83.7 points and they are shooting 46.8 percent while defensively they are allowing 75.3 points and their opponents are shooting 44.3 percent. The Washington Huskies have dropped four of their last five games and with it they have dropped to seventh place in the Pac-12 standings. Washington is 2-9 away from home this year and 6-7 in the Pac-12. C.J. Wilcox is the Huskies leading scorer averaging 18.8 points per game. Nigel Williams-Goss is averaging 13.3 points, Andrew Andrews is averaging 11.9 points, and Perris Blackwell is averaging 10.2 points and 6.9 rebounds. As a team Washington is averaging 74.2 points and they are shooting 44 percent while defensively they are allowing 75.7 points and they are shooting 47.7 percent. Washington is 1-6 in Pac-12 road games.
Oregon is 8-18-2 against the spread against the Pac-12, 1-6 against the spread in their last seven home games, and 1-4-1 against the spread following a win. Washington is 1-4 against the spread in their last four road games, 5-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, and 2-6 against the spread in their last eight Wednesday games. The underdog has covered the point spread in the last six meetings of these two.
Washington beat Oregon by four at home in the first meeting of these two but the Huskies play has deteriorated since then while the Ducks haven’t regained their early season form they are much the better team right now and it’s a lean with the big number involved.
