The Tulsa Golden Hurricanes will look for their fifth straight win when they play the Florida International Panthers.
It’s going to be a quick turnaround for the Hurricanes, a team that just played Florida Atlantic on Thursday. In the 71-52 victory, they shot 47.2 percent from the field and won the rebounding margin 42-32. During their winning streak, they’re averaging 70 points on 46.5 percent shooting and holding teams to 53.8 points on 34.9 percent shooting. On the road, they average 74.1 points and allow 75 points. They are 3-7 SU on the road, 16-7 ATS overall and 8-5 ATS on the road.

The Panthers have lost three of their last five games, including two in a row. During their losing stretch, they’re averaging 72 points on 45.9 percent shooting and are giving up 72.8 points on 46.8 percent shooting. They’re also shooting under 70 percent from the free throw line, which hasn’t helped considering two of their last three losses were decided by one bucket. Tymell Murphy is coming off a 31-point performance. At home, they average 64.8 points and allow 65.5 points. They are 9-10 ATS overall and 5-3 ATS at home.
You have to like the way the Hurricanes have been playing recently, but you have to question how long this is going to last, especially on the road where they have been brutal all year. FIU tightens up its defense at home and needs a feel good victory before the season comes to an end. (Won’t be eligible for C-USA Tournament)
The Panthers are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 home games against teams with a losing road record.
I’m not overly confident on this play, but I’ll take the Panthers and the points at home.
