The Weber State Wildcats travel to Worthington Arena to face the Montana State Bobcats.
Weber State might be the top team in the Big Sky but if they eventually drop in the standings it will be because of their struggles on the road. The Wildcats have suffered consecutive defeats on the road following a 68-57 loss at Montana. A one point game at the break eventually got away from the Wildcats despite 52% shooting. That was because Montana was even better at over 57% with Weber State receiving few second chance points. Kyle Tresnak shouldered the scoring with 23 points followed by Davion Berry and Jeremy Senglin adding 12 and ten points.

It seems like half of the Big Sky is tied for third and that's not to far from the truth with five teams tied with an 8-7 record including Montana State. The Bobcats have been playing well with wins in three of four following a 66-60 decision over visiting Idaho State on Thursday. With both teams sinking shots in the 43% range it was the small advantages that took center stage. Those advantages favored the Bobcats who hit three more bombs and three more free throws. Terrell Brown led a balanced Montana State attack with 13 points while Antonio Biglow and Marcus Colbert netted 12 points apiece folloed by an eleven point, eight rebound effort from Flavien Davis.
There really isn't a night and day difference among the top 5-6 teams in the Big Sky where the home floor is always important. Weber State is nothing special on the road but need to prove otherwise at Montana State or they are in trouble...
