The Line: St. Bonaventure Bonnies -10 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Rhode Island Rams hope to snap a six-game losing streak when they go on the road to play the St. Bonaventure Bonnies.
The Rams are coming up with a bunch of creative ways to lose, but it simply comes down to the 14.6 turnovers they’re averaging in their last five games. It also doesn’t help that they’re averaging 62.8 points and allowing their competition to average 71.4 points. Those numbers get even worse away from home, as they average just 63.6 points and allow 72.8 points on the road. Against the spread, they are 12-10 overall and 7-5 on the road.

The Bonnies are on a three-game winning streak and are starting to separate themselves from the middle of the pack a little bit. In their last five games, they’re averaging 72.6 points on 47.6 percent shooting and holding their opponents to 68.2 points on 43.5 percent shooting. Their defense has made strides and Matthew Wright has topped 20 points in his last two games. At home they average 74.7 points and allow 62.4 points. They are 14-10 ATS overall and 7-3 ATS at home.
Although the Rams do a nice job of hanging around with teams and can make you money ATS, the Bonnies have won the last four meetings SU and the last seven meetings ATS. It also doesn’t help that Rhode Island is 2-10 SU on the road this season, while St. Bonaventure is 10-2 SU at home.
The Bonnies are playing some of their best basketball of the season over the last week and really takes things to another level when playing at the Reilly Center.
I’ll back the home team and the chalk.
