The Valparaiso Crusaders host the Youngstown State Penguins with conference positions on the line.
Youngstown State still has a chance of reaching the top four but the odds are not in their favor with a sweep of the remaining schedule along with some help. After dropping four in a row the Penguins have won back to back contests after knocking off Milwaukee 88-83 in overtime. As is usually the case the Penguins offense came to the rescue with over 53% marksmanship being just enough to overcome the Panthers 47% from the field and their eleven bombs. Kendrick Perry saved the day with an explosive 35 point, nine pull and five assist effort while Bobby Hain and Kamren Belin added 14 points each with DJ Cole chipping in with eleven.

Valparaiso traveled to Green Bay with visions of first place in the Horizon still alive but those hopes were soundly dashed in a 67-53 loss on Thursday. The Crusaders trailed by only three at the half before bith endsof the floor went flat over the final 20 minutes. The shots simply were not falling at 36.5% and they didn't get to the foul line either with only seven attempts. The Phoenix didn't light up the scoreboard with 41% from the field but they made up for that with a 22-25 performance at the line. Valpo received eleven points each from Jubril Adekoya and Alec Peters with the latter posting five pulls while Moussa Gueye and Jordan Coleman combining for 17 points.
I expect points to be scored here and I would probably take a look at the over when released as the side looks about right on. I'll back the home team but the value is questionable...
