Meanwhile, Pepperdine sits in 5th place in the conference at 8-8 and comes in off a 72-69 victory at Loyola Marymount last Thursday, completing the season sweep. The Waves shot 50.0 percent from the floor and 41.7 percent from outside the arc to the Lions’ 40.9 percent from the field and 31.8 percent from distance. Pepperdine also outrebounded LMU and converted 8 of 10 from the foul line. Through 28 games, the Waves are averaging  71.6 ppg on 46.0 percent shooting. Davis leads the team with 15.1 ppg, followed by senior F Brendan Lane at 13.6 ppg.

Rick’s Pick: The line in this one is set at -2.5 for Pepperdine. San Francisco topped the Waves decisively 76-66 six weeks ago so the points look like the better play here.
