The Line: Air Force Falcons +6 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The UNLV Rebels will take to the road and play the Air Force Falcons on Saturday afternoon. These teams played their previous meeting in early January, and Air Force won a shocker, 75-68.
The Rebels have been very inconsistent lately, splitting their last six games. During that stretch, they’re averaging 69 points on 44.3 percent shooting and allowing 67.4 points on 43.3 percent shooting. They’re also snagging 10 offensive rebounds. Although they’re mostly known for their defense, they’ve allowed a combined 161 points in their last two games. On the road, they average 71.6 points and allow 65.7 points. They are 17-10-1 ATS overall and 8-2 ATS on the road.
The Falcons are coming off a huge road win over the Wyoming Cowboys, but have still lost eight of their last 10 games. During the victory, they grabbed eight more rebounds than the Cowboys and held them to just 4-20 from downtown. Still, their offense is struggling worse than ever, as they’re averaging just 54.8 points on 37.2 percent shooting in their last five games. At home, they average 66.6 points and allow 72.3 points. They are 13-8 ATS overall and 5-6 ATS on their home court.
Even though the Rebels haven’t lived up to expectations over the last week or so, they’re still the better team in this matchup and have covered 11of their last 13 road games. With that trend in the back of your mind, there’s really no reason to back the Falcons at this point. Keep jumping on that money train until it stops moving.
Also, the road team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings between these two teams.
You should feel confident in backing UNLV and the chalk.
