The Miami Hurricanes travel to North Carolina State to play the Wolfpack on Saturday.
The Miami Hurricanes dropped to 14-14, 5-10 ACC after losing at Virginia 65-40 on Wednesday night. On the season, Rion Brown is averaging a team-high 15 points per game along with a team-high 6.3 rebounds per game. Garrius Adams is averaging 10.2 points per game and a team-high 2.9 assists per contest. The Hurricanes are shooting only 41.4% from the field this season while averaging 61.7 points per game as a team. The Hurricanes are a decent rebounding team, pulling down 35.2 boards per game. Miami won back-to-back games last week for the first time since late-December, but they have struggled in ACC play overall this season. The Hurricanes will be on the road for two more games until finishing the season at home next week. Miami has lost three of their last four on the road in conference play.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack dropped to 17-11, 7-8 ACC after losing to in-state rival North Carolina at home in overtime 85-84 on Wednesday night. On the year, T.J. Warren leads the Wolfpack with 23.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, both team-highs. Anthony Barber is averaging 9.8 points per game and a team-high 3.7 assists per game. The Wolfpack are averaging 70.4 points per game while shooting 45.6% from the field as a team this season. North Carolina State is a decent rebounding team, averaging 35.1 boards per game. The Wolfpack bounced back last week at Virginia Tech after losing two straight games, but NC State failed to pull off a big win against the Tar Heels on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will stay at home where they have won four out of their last five overall.
North Carolina State beat Miami on the road by 1-point back on February 8th. Miami has been inconsistent all year due to the lack of playmakers and offensive production as a team. North Carolina State is tough to beat at home and will be coming off a very emotional loss to their in-state rival on Wednesday night. The Wolfpack have more to play for at this point and I think they will be ready to play on Saturday. I’ll take NC State to win and cover at home.
