The Line: Wyoming Cowboys +2 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
One of the better Mountain West games of the Saturday schedule will be when the Wyoming Cowboys host the Boise State Broncos. These teams played back in early January, and Wyoming won a defensive battle, 52-50.
The Broncos head into this matchup losing four of their last seven games, including a 20-point road blowout to the Fresno State Bulldogs. In that loss they shot just 38 percent from the field. The Broncos continue to struggle on defense, as they’re allowing teams to shoot 50 percent from the field and average 76.8 points in their last five games. That includes 45.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc. On the road, they average 71.1 points and allow 72.6 points. They are 7-16 ATS overall and 5-7 ATS on the road.

The Cowboys have lost four in a row and four of their last seven as well. Their struggles come on the glass, as they’re averaging just 24.8 rebounds per game in their last five matchups. That’s much lower than the 29.2 boards they average on the season. Offensively, they’ve averaged 61.2 points on 45.8 percent shooting, while the defense has given up 60.6 points on 39.2 percent shooting. They average 69.9 points and allow 60.5 points at home. ATS, they are 14-9-2 overall and 8-5 at home.
Although both teams are struggling over the last week, this is a good spot to take the Cowboys. They’re at home where they shoot 50.7 percent from the field. That’s without a Broncos defense that gives teams whatever they shot they like at all times. I see a Wyoming blowout in this matchup.
The Cowboys are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against teams with a winning SU record and are 6-1 ATS in their last seven following a SU loss.
Give me the home team and the points.
