The Siena Saints host the Monmouth Hawks at the Times Union Center to end the regular season.
Monmouth's first season in the MAAC hasn't been stellar at 5-14 as they have struggled for consistency at both ends of the floor. The Hawk's hadn't won in over a month before a surprisingly easy 75-50 demolition of visiting Niagara with a 16 point bulge after 20 minutes setting the tone. A 51%-31% shooting edge was the decisive edge which gave the Hawks 13 more field goals. Andrew Nicholas was the offensive star with a contest best 27 points followed by a 16 point, nine board effort from Deon Jones while Monmouth emptied the bench with 12 players seeing floor time.

I like what I have seen from Siena in 2013-14 as they have a winning record and haven't been an easy team to face which is my way of saying they have been competitive. The Saints won't be winning the conference but I'll bet there aren't many teams lining up to face them in the conference playoffs. Siena knocked off second place Quinnipiac 72-70 despite struggling to only 36% marksmanship with the Bobcats giving the ball away 15 times leading to a few more threes and free throws. Brett Bisping paced the attack with 14 points and ten pulls with Rob Poole tossing in 15 followed by Lavon Long and Ryan Oliver adding 13 and eleven points with Oliver posting five yanks.
This is still a lot of chalk to lay with Siena even though they are a decent team. Decent enough to cover? Definite maybe but I don't see a ton of options here...
