The Ole Miss Rebels have lost five of their last six games as they have watched their season slip away. Mississippi is 8-8 in the SEC and 6-7 in game splayed away from home. Marshall Henderson is the Rebels leading scorer averaging 19.2 points per game. Jarvis Summers is averaging 17.2 points, LaDarius White is averaging 7.5 points, and Anthony Perez is averaging 7.4 points. Ole Miss is averaging 75.4 points and they are shooting 42.1 percent while defensively they are allowing 72 points and their opponents are shooting 42 percent. Ole Miss won the SEC Tournament last season and will need to do it again this year if they hope to be in the NCAA Tournament.
Arkansas is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven games, 16-7 against the spread in their last 23 home games, and 5-0 against the spread against a team with a winning record. Mississippi is 4-1 against the spread following a loss, 1-3-1 against the spread in their last five road games, and 11-27 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread. Mississippi has covered the point spread in their last four games at Arkansas.
Arkansas has been rolling while Ole Miss is just folding and I look for the Hogs to take care of business here.
