The Line: Colorado State Rams -14 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The San Jose State Spartans will make their final road trip of the season when they take on the Colorado State Rams. These teams met back on January 8, and the Rams won 68-64.
It’s been the same song and dance for the Spartans all season, as they’ve lost 15 of their last 16 games. On the season, they’re averaging 61.7 points on 37.1 percent shooting and are allowing 71.8 points on 43.4 percent shooting. On the road it’s even worse, as they average 63.4 points on 38.8 percent shooting and allow 76.1 points on 46.3 percent shooting. They’re not exactly a team you want to put money on, as they’re 10-15-1 ATS overall and 7-9 ATS on the road.

The Rams have also continued their slide, losing four of their last five games. During this stretch, they’re averaging 70.4 points on 41.6 percent shooting and are allowing 75 points on 48.5 percent shooting. Their defense has really fallen by the wayside, as they usually allow under 70 points per game on the season. At home is where they usually play well, as they’re averaging 74.5 points and allow 68.1 points. They are 7-15-1 ATS overall and 4-9 ATS on their home court.
This is a game that you’re probably better off just leaving alone with the way both teams have played during the second half of the season. Colorado State isn’t playing much defense lately, while San Jose State isn’t doing much of anything right.
However, if forced to make a pick, I’m going with the Spartans and the points. They took the Rams down to the wire a couple of months ago and have won three of their seven games this season on the road.
The only thing guaranteed in this matchup are the points. I’ll cautiously take them.
