The Northeastern Huskies had a tough season but their record is also a byproduct of tough out of conference scheduling. Northeastern is 6-12 away from home and 7-9 in CAA play this season. Scott Eatherton is averaging 15.5 points and 10.1 rebounds to lead the Huskies. David Walker is averaging 11.5 points, Reggie Spencer is averaging 9.1 points and 6.7 rebounds, and Demetrius Pollard is averaging 9.0 points. Finished in fifth place in the CAA standings.
Drexel is 6-2-1 against the spread in their last nine games. Northeastern is 2-6-1 against the spread in their last nine games, 7-3 against the spread in their last 10 neutral site games, and 1-4 against the spread following a win. Northeastern has covered the point spread in the last four meetings of these two.
The number here looks light but it isn’t going to scare me out of taking Drexel here.
