The Louis Brown Athletic Center and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights host the Cincinnati Bearcats in the final game of the season.
Cincinnati is tied for first in the AAC with Louisville with one game to play so we can figure out the different scenarios. The Bearcats avoided their first three game losing streak of the season when they exploded for a 97-84 victory over visiting Memphis behind a 59 point second half. Cincy didn't miss often with 53% marksmanship and a 29-17 advantage at the stripe to overcome the decent 47% shooting of the Tigers. Sean Kilpatrick poured in a game high 34 points with Titus Rubles next in line with 24 followed by Justin Jackson with 13 points and nine rebounds.

Some might say that Rutgers has nothing to play for in the last regular season contest but a win over powerhouse Cincinnati could provide some much needed momentum and if nothing else the Scarlet Knights are playing for pride. You could see some pride show through in a 69-63 defeat at Connecticut in one of their best efforts of the season. The defense simply struggled to get stops with the Huskies hitting at 47% to edge out the 44$ accuracy of the Scarlet Knights. Myles mack led a trio of double digit scorers with 16 points, five pulls and five assists with Wally Judge next in line with 13 points and ten rebounds while JJ Moore chipped in with eleven points.
Cincinnati must win to stay in first but Rutgers has been playing reasonably well but overall have not been good. I'll take the points but sure wouldn't want to bet my life on it...
