The Albany Great Danes and Vermont Catamounts take the hardwood in the America East semifinals.
Albany rode a blistering first half to an easy quarterfinal victory over Maryland-Baltimore County who never were in it. The Grey Danes jumped out to a 38-17 lead after 20 minutes behind red hot 56% marksmanship including an 11-20 mark from beyond the arc to light up the scoreboard while the Retrievers were limited to only 37% from the field. Peter Hooley was unstoppable with 30 points with Sam Rowley next in line with 15 points and six yanks followed by a combined 32 points from John Puk, Anders Haas and DJ Evans with 12 players seeing the floor.

New Hampshire laid it all on the line in the first half of the quarterfinal battle with Vermont and it wasn't close to being enough as the Catamounts rolled to a 77-60 rout. The Wildcats trailed by eight after 20 minutes and the Catamounts 49% from the field was simply too much with Vermont also owning a hefty 21-11 advantage at the charity stripe. Five players reached double figures in the scoring column with Clancy Rugg and Candon Rusin tossing in 15 points each followed by 12 point efforts from Sandro Carrisimo and Luke Apfeld while Brian Voelkel added ten points, 14 rebounds and ten helpers.
Vermont is favored and should win and the line here is reasonable enough.
