Vanderbilt is 6-2 against the spread in their last eight neutral site games and 8-3 against the spread against a team with a losing record. Mississippi State is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, 5-2 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, and 1-8-1 against the spread following a double-digit home loss. Mississippi State is 6-3-1 against the spread in the last 10 meetings of these two.
Vanderbilt has been decent against the number but that is normally as a dog so laying points I will have to go the other way and take Mississippi State.
