The Georgia Bulldogs and the Ole Miss Rebels face off on Friday in the SEC Tournament in a semifinal battle.
The Georgia Bulldogs were the surprise team in SEC play finishing the season in a tie for second place in the standings. Georgia is 12-6 in SEC play and 0-3 in neutral site games this season. Charles Mann leads the Bulldogs averaging 13.4 points per game. Kenny Gaines is averaging 13.4 points, Nemanja Djurisic is averaging 8.9 points, and Brandon Morris is averaging 8.7 points. Georgia is averaging 69.2 points and they are shooting 44.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 66.4 points and their opponents are shooting 39.5 percent. Georgia will more than likely need to win the SEC Tournament to make the NCAA Tournament.

The Ole Miss Rebels struggled badly over the last month of the season but they got the win on Thursday over Mississippi State to advance to this game. Ole Miss is 10-9 in the SEC and 3-0 in neutral site games. Marshall Henderson is averaging 19 points to lead the Rebels. Jarvis Summers is averaging 16.9 points, LaDarius White is averaging 7.5 points, and Anthony Perez is averaging 7.2 points. Mississippi is averaging 75.2 points and they are shooting 41.6 percent while defensively they are allowing 72.9 points and their opponents are shooting 42.2 percent. Ole Miss is the defending SEC Tournament Champs and they are hoping to repeat.
Georgia is 4-1 against the spread in their last five games and 23-9 against the spread against the SEC. Ole Miss is 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight neutral site games, 1-3-1 against the spread following a win, and 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The underdog has covered the point spread in the last five meetings of these two.
The total is set at 139 and I like for this one to stay under that in the high 120's so I am on the under. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as the App.
