The Arizona Wildcats and the UCLA Bruins face off on Saturday Night in Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament Championship Game.
The Arizona Wildcats were the top ranked team in the nation for much of the season and the regular season Pac-12 Champs and they have very much looked the part in their first tow games of the Pac-12 Tournament. Arizona pummeled Utah 71-39 and followed it up with a 20-point win over Colorado on Friday in a game that was close at the half. Nick Johnson leads the Wildcats averaging 16.1 points per game. Aaron Gordon is averaging 12.2 points and 7.8 rebounds, Kaleb Tarczewski is averaging 10 points and 6.6 rebounds, and Rondae-Hollis Jefferson is averaging 8.6 points and 5.7 rebounds. Arizona is averaging 73.1 points and they are shooting 46.9 percent while defensively they are allowing 57.6 points and their opponents are shooting 37.9 percent. Arizona win or lose is likely the number one seed in the West Regional of the NCAA Tournament.

The UCLA Bruins haven’t always played to their ability this season but with a 19-point win over Oregon on Thursday and a 25-point win over Stanford on Friday they advance to this game with a full head of steam. UCLA is 16-6 against Pac-12 teams, 4-1 in neutral site games, and 0-2 against teams ranked in the top 25. Jordan Adams leads the Bruins averaging 17.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Kyle Anderson is averaging 14.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game, Norman Powell is averaging 11.2 points, and Zach LaVine is averaging 10.2 points. UCLA is averaging 82 points and they are shooting 49.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 70.8 points and their opponents are shooting 42.8 percent. UCLA has not got it done against the better teams this season
Arizona is 6-1 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games, and 6-2 against the spread against a team with a winning record. UCLA is 4-1 against the spread in their last five neutral site games, 5-2 against the spread following a win, and 9-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record. The underdog has covered the point spread in five of the last six meetings of these two.
The total is at 137.5 but I see the under being the play here. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that pick in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
