The Kentucky Wildcats and the Georgia Bulldogs face off on Saturday in a semifinal matchup in the SEC Tournament.
The Kentucky Wildcats have had their share of highs and lows this season but they looked like a well oiled machine on Friday taking it to LSU to advance to this game. Kentucky is 13-6 in the SEC and 3-2 in neutral site games. Julius Randle leads the Wildcats averaging 15.4 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. James Young is averaging 14.6 points, Aaron Harrison is averaging 13.5 points, and Andrew Harrison is averaging 10.8 points. Kentucky is averaging 76.6 points and they are shooting 45.3 percent while defensively they are allowing 67.1 points and their opponents are shooting 40.2 percent. Kentucky is looking to build some positive momentum as they look towards the NCAA Tournament.

The Georgia Bulldogs found themselves in a battle on Friday against Ole Miss but they got the lead late and held on against any attempted final second heroics to get the win and advance. Georgia is 1-3 in neutral site games and 13-6 in SEC games. Kenny Gaines leads the Dawgs averaging 13.4 points per game. Charles Mann is averaging 13.4 points, Nemanja Djurisic is averaging 8.9 points, and Brandon Morris is averaging 8.7 points. Georgia is averaging 69.2 points and they are shooting 44.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 66.4 points and their opponents are shooting 39.5 percent. Georgia has been a big surprise in the SEC but they will need to win this tournament to go to the NCAA Tournament.
Kentucky is 1-5 against the spread in their last six games, 0-4 against the spread following a win, and 1-4 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Georgia is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, 5-2 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread, and 24-9 against the spread against the SEC.
The total in this one is set at 133.5 but I see it coming in over that number and that is my free pick. My stronger play is on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
