The Louisville Cardinals square off with the Connecticut Huskies in the AAC championship.
Connecticut might not have won the regular season AAC title but they have a chance for redemption after moving on to the conference title game following a 58-56 decision over Cincinnati. The Huskies won the shooting battle 44%-38% while going 7-13 from distance and owning a 15-6 edge at the charity stripe to offset 15 giveaways and 17 more Cincy looks. Shabazz Napier led the attack with 15 points with DeAndre Daniels adding 14 points and nine boards followed by Ryan Boatright and Niels Giffey with 13 and eleven points.

Louisville turned in theie second straight one sided performances with a 94-65 rout of Houston in the AAC semifinals. After destroying Rutgers in the quarters Houston fared little better with the Cardinals once again making shots and playing airtight defense. UL sank half their looks includng 10-24 on threes while holding a 16-8 edge at the foul line. That was way too much for the Cougars 37% marksmanship who had no answer for Russ Smith and his 42 point night with Luke Hancock and Montrezl Harrrell adding 12 points each and combining for nine yanks.
Line is not out but the way Louisville is performing it could be large and it will still be difficult to go against them...
