The #12 North Dakota State Bison shoot for the first round upset of the #5 Oklahoma Sooners.
Winning both the regular season crown and the conference postseason isn't an easy accomplishment but North Dakota State pulled off the feat in the Summit. After knocking off Fort Wayne 60-57 in the championship the Bison racked up win number nine in a row. The top 50 attack produced 76 points on 51% shooting with the defense allowing 65 points for the best combination in the Summit so this team could win a shootout or defensive struggle. Whatever the case points will be needed against OU and Taylor Braun is the man for the job at 18 points.

Oklahoma is Dancing once again and they can thank one of the nation's most prolific offenses in the game that averaged 82 points. The Sooners were seldom held below 70 points so when this team lost it was because the opposition simply outgunned them. Looking at the body of work I can't see this team doing anything but pushing the pace and lighting up the scoreboard while either outscoring the Bison or getting a few stops and hoping for a bad offensive day from their first round foe. There obviously is plenty of scoring punch on this Oklahoma team but Buddy Hield (16.8 ppg) and Cameron Clark (15 ppg) are the most dangerous options.
Oklahoma is built to score much the same as North Dakota State and I'm not sure either team can be completely stopped. I'm just hoping the Sooners get a few more stops...
