The Line: Saint Louis Billikens -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The North Carolina State Wolfpack and Saint Louis Billikens will play Thursday in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Wolfpack are coming off of a 74-59 Tuesday play in victory over the Xavier Musketeers.
The Wolfpack are a dangerous team in this tournament considering the fact that they’re so balanced. North Carolina State averages 70.9 points on 46.1 percent shooting and allows 69.2 points on 42.4 percent shooting. Offensively, the Wolfpack are led by sophomore forward T.J. Warren, who averages 24.8 points and 7.2 rebounds. And although Warren carries most of the load, junior guard Ralston Turner did score 17 points in the win over Xavier. North Carolina State shoots 66.1 percent from the free throw line and 30.3 percent from beyond the arc. The North Carolina State Wolfpack are 19-12-1 ATS overall this season.

The Saint Louis Billikens will go as far as their defense carries them, as they allow 61.2 points on 39.9 percent shooting. The Billikens have held six of their last 10 opponents under 70 points. Offensively, Saint Louis averages 70 points on 44.3 percent shooting. Seniors Dwayne Evans and Jordair Jett do most of the heavy lifting, combining for 27.7 points per game. Saint Louis shoots 70.8 percent from the free throw line and 31.9 percent from downtown. The Billikens are also a solid rebounding team, snagging 36.3 boards per game. The Saint Louis Billikens are 10-19 ATS overall this season.
I can’t trust the Billikens with the way they closed out the regular season. North Carolina State is playing some of its best basketball it’s played all year and has a player who can take over the game in Warren.
I think the Wolfpack win this game SU, but I’ll take the couple of points in what should be a game that comes down to the wire.
