Stanford is a decent rebounding team and they hold their opponents to an average of 67.9 points per game. The Stanford Cardinal lost by 25 to UCLA in the conference tournament, but they have played well in the first two games of the tournament.
This game should be a low-scoring defensive battle as these two teams matchup pretty well. I think the outcome of the game will be decided on the glass and at the free-throw line. The way the referees have been calling fouls in this tournament, I think both teams will have plenty of opportunities from the charity stripe. Dayton seems like a team of destiny and they have some solid talent across the board. Stanford has been inconsistent all year and I could see this being one of those bad games. I’m going to back the Flyers with the points and I wouldn’t be surprised if they won outright.
