The Wisconsin Badgers hope to derail the Kentucky Wildcats and punch their ticket to the National Championship game.
Wisconsin was one of three Big Ten squads in the Elite Eight and when the smoke had cleared they were the last one standing as they survived an overtime battle with Arizona by a 64-63 count to advance to the Final Four. Defense ruled the roost in this one with both teams hitting shots at a 39% pace even though this was cleanly played with a combined 17 turnovers. The lone difference was the Badgers sank one more three pointer to offset a few more Zona foul shots. Having said that, Frank Kaminsky was the biggest difference with a monster 28 point, eleven rebound performance followed by Traeveon Jackson with ten points and five helpers.

Kentucky hasn't run away from anybody in the tournament thus far and and have gone through stretches where they have looked ordinary but they regrouped from all issues and made enough plays to win games. That's the bottom line in the NCAA's and if you watched the Wildcats throughout their four victories you were treated to some very exciting basketball. UK advanced to the Final Four when Aaron Harrison nailed a three with less then three ticks left for a 75-72 win over Michigan. The Wildcats won the shooting battle 53%-47% with the Wolverines countering with better free throw shooting which had these teams dead even until the end. Julius Randle tossed in 16 points and snagged 11 boards for UK with James Young and Aaron Harrison adding 13 and 12 points while Marcus Lee netted 10 points and 8 boards.
Wisconsin and Kentucky are both deserving of going to the National Championship but I believe the Wildcats have somehow upped the intensity so for now I'll lay the small chalk but reserve the right to change later...
