The Line: Bucknell Bison -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Marist Red Foxes and Bucknell Bison meet Friday night at the Sojka Pavilion.

The Marist Red Foxes finished 12-19 last season and hope to improve with their top two players returning. Senior guard Chavaughn Lewis will once again be the go-to guy for Marist after averaging 17.5 points and five rebounds. Lewis will have help from sophomore guard Khallid Hart, who averaged 14.7 points and shot 45.7 percent from the field. Those two players give Marist one of the better backcourts in the MAAC and should improve their average of 68.4 points per game. Marist was a very top heavy team offensively last season and could use more contributions from T.J. Curry and Manny Thomas to help turn the corner. Defensively, the lack of size hurts the Marist Red Foxes, as they’re not great on the glass and can struggle at times finning possessions. Of course, it doesn’t help that Marist lost its top rebounders in Jay Bowie and Adam Kemp.

Bucknell vs. Marist - 11/14/14 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Bucknell Bison were a decent 11-7 last season in conference play but will be hard pressed to find that same success. Bucknell lost a lot of key players, including Brian Fitzpatrick, Ben Brackney and one of the top Patriot League players in Cameron Ayers. Ayers led the Bison in scoring last season and was second on the team with 4.5 rebounds. Bucknell will now turn to Chris Hass for scoring, as he shot above 40 percent from downtown last year, while Steven Kaspar will lead the charge defensively. Last season, the Bucknell Bison allowed just 64.1 points per game, giving them one of the better defenses in the entire country. While Bucknell can only hope the defensive effort remains intact, the Bison have a ton of new faces in the lineup and it’ll take time to find some consistent scoring success.

The Red Foxes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 7-22 ATS in their last 29 Friday games. The Bison are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

There's no line on this game just yet. Please check back later when and if a line is released.
