The Youngstown State Penguins look for another win when they take the floor with the Central Michigan Chippewas.
If you follow the Youngstown State Penguins you know they lost a tremendous amount of talent from a season ago. That being said they still had plenty of firepower to deal Oberlin a 71-53 defeat. The Yeoman never got their offense going on 34% shooting and 15 turnovers. The Penguins didnn't burn up the nets with nearly 40% accuracy but they dominated the backboards 43-25 and snagged 16 offensive pulls to give them plenty of extra looks. Bobby Hain led five double figure scorers with 20 points and eleven rebounds with Shawn Amiker Jr. dropping 13 points and grabbing nine pulls. Marcus Keene followed with 12 points while DJ Cole and Fletcher Larson contributed ten points each with Cole handing out nine helpers.

The Central Michigan Chippewas are mot getting many accolades in the MAC but they certainly were heads and tails better then opening day opponent Alma College. The Chippewas ran out to a 31 point lead after 20 minutes before going in to cruise control in a 106-64 rout of the overmatched Scots. The Scots hit shots at less then 38% which was game over with the Chips firing away at nearly 54% which included 13 threes while holding a 23-7 advantage at the charity stripe. Central Michigan had five players score in double figures led by Blake Hibbitts with 14 points and nine yanks with the trio of John Simons, Chris Fowler and Josh Kozinski scoring 12 each with Fowler posting eleven dishes. Every player saw the floor for CMU and all but one was able to score.
YSU are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall and the over is 9-3 in YSU last 12 road games. For Central Michigan the Chips are 5-15 ATS in their last 20 home games and CMU are 4-12-2 ATS in their last 18 Tue. games while the under is 6-2 in CMU last 8 Tue. games. Neither team is thought to be a contender in their respective conferences with Youngstown State lsing far too much talent. I don't have a strong opinion formed on either team yet so I'll take the points...
