The Drake Bulldogs look to even their record when they hit the the road to face the DePaul Blue Demons.
The Drake Bulldogs are hoping for a good start to the season to build momentum for the Missouri Valley schedule begins. Unfortunately the year didn't get off on the right foot in a 77-58 defeat at the hands of visiting Bowling Green. This one was over by the half with the Falcons leading by 16. Drake simply couldn't make a comeback with just 37% shooting to lean on while Bowling Green didn't miss much with nearly 52% marksmanship. Reed Timmer paced the Bulldogs offense with 16 points on 6-16 shooting with six helpers while Jacob Enevold Jensen chipping in with ten points and five boards. Chris Caird and Jordan Daniels each scored eight points but scorig and defense were not a strength for Drake.
