The Line: Eastern Michigan Eagles -10 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Youngstown State Penguins and Eastern Michigan Eagles square off Friday night at the Convocation Center.

The Youngstown State Penguins only victory came against Oberlin College, as they’re 1-2 on the season. Overall, Youngstown State is averaging 62 points on 37 percent shooting and is allowing 72 points on 44.4 percent shooting. Bobby Hain leads the Penguins with 14.7 points and 6.3 rebounds while Marcus Keene averages 14.3 points on 40.5 percent shooting. Shawn Amiker is the third Youngstown State player who is averaging double-digit points and DJ Cole has done a little bit of everything, including leading the Penguins with 5.7 assists. The Youngstown State Penguins are averaging just nine turnovers a game but they’re shooting just 60.3 percent from the free throw line and 22.2 percent from three. Youngstown State is going to find it hard to win games if those poor percentages continue.

Eastern Michigan vs. Youngstown State - 11/21/14 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Eastern Michigan Eagles are off to a 2-0 start with wins over St. Francis and Oakland. On the season, Eastern Michigan is averaging 89 points on 49.2 percent shooting and is allowing 77 points on 44.3 percent shooting. Karrington Ward leads Eastern Michigan with 19 points and 10 rebounds while Raven Lee is averaging 17.5 points on 54.5 percent shooting. Mike Talley leads Eastern Michigan with five assists and Anali Okoloji is shooting a cool 62.5 percent from the field. Indiana State transfer Mike Samuels hasn’t exactly fulfilled expectations early on with as many fouls (five) as points. The Eastern Michigan Eagles are expected to be a middle of the road MAC team and have to win games like this in impressive fashion to make people think otherwise.

The Penguins are 6-13-2 ATS in their last 21 Friday games and 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 vs. Horizon League and 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall.

I don't like teams that struggle to score, especially from the free throw line. It's going to be a long season for the Youngstown State Penguins. Give me Eastern Michigan in a double-digit victory.
