The Houston Cougars look to stay unbeaten when they tangle with the Havard Crimson Tuesday.
The Houston Cougars look for their third straight win to open the season when they take on Harvard on the road. Through two games the Cougars haven't had much of a problem scoring the basketball and that was the case in a 72-57 victory over outmanned Morgan State over it was an awful game with both squads connecting at 33% from the floor with a combined 41 turnovers. For some reason Houston was convinced the three point shot was going to fall but a 10-38 mark says different. The Cougars most reliable shooter was Devonta Pollard with 19 points and 13 rebounds on 8-13 from the floor. Cavon Butler added 12 points and ten pulls with Danrad Knowles and Eric Weary tossing in eleven points each with 17 pulls.

The Harvard Crimson overcame the disappointment of a one point loss to Holy Cross to rout Florida Atlantic 71-49 to improve to 2-1 in the early going. The Crimson turned up the pressure at both ends of the floor by holding the Owls to less then 36.8% from the field while burning the nets at nearly 52%. The Crimson owned a +14 on the glass and sank eleven more field goals with everybody on the bench seeing the floor. Wesley Saunders pumped in a game high 19 points and handed out six helpers on 7-11 shooting with Steve Moundou-Missi adding 14 points and six yanks while Evan Cummins and Kenyatta Smith tossed nine points apiece with ten and five rebounds respectably.
The Cougars are 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall with the under going 6-2 in HOU last 8 Tuesday games. For Harvard the under is 12-2 in HARV last 14 home games while harvard are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games. I think Houston is more of an unknown then the Crimson as I fully expect Harvard to finish first or second in the Ivy. If the Cougars shoot as they did versus Morgan State then Harvard covers but I think this is a guessing game here...
