The Michigan Wolverines and the Villanova Wildcats face off on Tuesday in Brooklyn in college basketball action.
The Michigan Wolverines advanced to the finals of the Barclays Classic as they knocked off Oregon on Monday. Michigan shot 45.7 percent from the floor and 38.5 percent from beyond the three-point arc while hitting 79.3 percent from the free throw line as they held off the Ducks. Zak Irvin led Michigan with 19 points and five rebounds. Caris LeVert had 18 points and five rebounds, Ricky Doyle had 10 points, and Spike Albrecht had seven points. Michigan held Oregon to 39 percent shooting but lost the rebounding battle 24-36.

The Villanova Wildcats led by two points at the half against the ranked VCU Rams but they turned it on in the second half blowing VCU out by 24 points. Villanova shot 50 percent from the floor including 38.9 percent from beyond the three-point arc while hitting 75 percent of their free throws. JayVaughn Pinkston had 15 points and seven rebounds to lead Villanova. Darrun Hillard had 14 points, Kris Jenkins had 13 points, and Josh Hart had 10 points and five rebounds. Villanova won the battle of the glass out rebounding VCU 35-26.
Michigan is 4-1 against the spread against the Big East, 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five neutral site games, and 5-2-2 against the spread in their last nine non-conference games. Villanova is 5-0 against the spread against the Big Ten, 5-2 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, and 5-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
I expect these two teams to light up the scoreboard and this total jus tlooks way too low so I like the over.
