The Oklahoma Sooners and Wisconsin Badgers play Friday afternoon at the Imperial Arena.
The Oklahoma Sooners have won three straight and are now looking for that statement win. On the season, Oklahoma is averaging 73 points on 40.3 percent shooting and is allowing 59.4 points on 33.6 percent shooting. Buddy Hield leads Oklahoma with 18.2 points and 6.2 rebounds while Isaiah Cousins is averaging 12.2 points and 7.6 rebounds. Ryan Spangler is grabbing 10.2 rebounds and Jordan Woodard is producing 4.4 assists. The Oklahoma Sooners are mainly an offensive team like last season, relying heavily on the three-ball and shooting 32.2 percent from downtown. However, the Sooners have also improved defensively, averaging more than six steals per game and being in the top 70 in college basketball in points allowed.

The Wisconsin Badgers remain unbeaten and look like one of the top teams in the country. On the season, Wisconsin is averaging 75.5 points on 51.9 percent shooting and is allowing 49.7 points on 37.1 percent shooting. Frank Kaminsky leads Wisconsin with 16.5 points and 8.8 rebounds while Nigel Hayes is averaging 14.2 points and 8.5 rebounds. Sam Dekker is the third Wisconsin player to average double-digit points and Josh Gasser is shooting 61.5 percent from beyond the arc. The Wisconsin Badgers are playing great ball at both ends of the court and are turning the ball over just nine times per game. As long as Wisconsin continues to shoot a high percentage from the field and playing elite level defense, the Badgers are going to be a tough out.
The Sooners are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS win and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Badgers are 38-17-1 ATS in their last 56 non-conference games and 9-1-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
I like Oklahoma but the questionable defense isn't going to fly against a team like Wisconsin. Again, the Badgers are the best team in the country in my eyes. Give me Wisconsin.
